A step-by-step guide on how to onboard your customers to the Evergen platform who have accepted their OpenSolar proposal with Evergen included.
This guide explains how to complete pre-registered user records OpenSolar sent to Evergen for your homeowners who need to receive our behind-the-meter optimisation software. The process is straightforward and can be easily managed within the Partner Portal. Here's how you can get started.
Step 1: Access the Partner Portal
Firstly, log into the partner portal here. This is where you will manage the pre-registrations for your homeowners.
Step 2: Navigate to the 'Activate' Tab
Once logged in, navigate to the 'Activate' tab located at the top of the screen. Here, you'll find a new sub-tab labeled 'OpenSolar Pre-registrations'.
Step 3: Review the Pre-Registrations
Clicking on the 'Open Solar Pre-registrations' tab will reveal a list of all your homeowners with pending pre-registrations.
Step 4: Verify Customer Contact Information
Click on a specific record to verify the customer's contact details, including their first name, last name, email, phone number, and home address. This information is crucial as it's used for geolocating and contacting the customer if there are any issues with their solar and battery system.
Step 5: Complete the Pre-Registration
To complete a pre-registration, update the system information, which includes:
- The serial number of the inverter or hardware connected to the customer's meter.
- The customer's meter identifier.
- Confirmation of the battery capacity.
- PV capacity and total inverter capacity.
Once you've entered these details, click 'Save'. This will automatically complete the registration process and trigger the onboarding process for the customer.
